I'm Not There – A Night of Bob Dylan

Who is Bob Dylan?

»I'm glad I'm not me...«

Dylan has said about himself. By merging music, poetry and performance, Bob Dylan livens up his music while reinventing it on each and every concert.

May 24th 2011 was Bob Dylan's 70th birthday.

In early 1961 Dylan came to the city that has been so fateful to him: New York, which marked the start of an exceptional artist's unprecedented live.

To celebrate and introduce the »Dylan-Year 2011« the musicians of the band Indian Summer: Henning Hoffmann, Lars-Christian Kuehn and Leif Sandtner with Thomas Biller on the double bass and movie actor Andreas Dobberkau developed a musically literary roadtrip through the life of »his Bobness«.

The diversive performance includes exceptional takes of popular as well as rare juwels of Dylan's endless song catalogue blended with several readings of the artist's famous autobiography »Chronicles«.
